Our Impact
Pump Avenue Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to redistributing insulin pumps to people with diabetes who cannot afford them or face insurance barriers. We collect donated pumps from individuals and healthcare partners, refurbish and verify them, and place them into the hands of patients who need them most — both across the United States and internationally.
Patients who need insulin pump therapy but cannot access it due to financial or insurance limitations can apply directly through our online application, or be referred to us by a medical provider or healthcare institution. Once we receive an application, our team schedules an eligibility interview.
We review each patient's unique circumstances and match them with a suitable insulin pump from our inventory. Our program recognizes that no two patients are the same — we work to find the right device for each individual.
Receiving a pump is just the beginning. We provide comprehensive training information to every patient we serve and remain a dedicated resource throughout your care journey. When you work with Pump Avenue, you become part of our family, and we are committed to supporting your access to diabetes technology for the long term.
Pump Donations
Our supply of insulin pumps comes from generous donors — individuals who have upgraded their devices, families of patients who no longer need their pumps, and healthcare organizations with surplus equipment. Every donated pump is carefully evaluated before being redistributed. If you have a pump to donate, or would like to support our mission financially, your contribution directly enables us to serve more patients.

Every dollar and every donated device brings us one step closer to a world where access to insulin pump therapy isn't determined by income.
